Just checked my Brave (on PC) and–despite DoH Quad9–it shows me something with “Woodynet” and country “USA”. I’ll try to find out more about that.
quad9 is an anycast dns resolver that provides many dns servers around the globe. among others at the hoster woodynet. You will always be redirected to the local nearest one.
