Bought a cheap Samsung Galaxy S5 and managed to get adb and fastboot installed on my win pc but TWRP and Heimdall are a compete mystery. Just too involved for me to grok. Perhaps someday will be easier.

Update: got zadiag to install the driver but Heimdall print-pit does nothing.

Odin doesn’t see the phone so can’t use it to install TWRP. It’s an S4.

I prefer the s4 because the s5 is glued,
You can easily change yourself parts of the s4 to repair it.

Forget the official documentation !

It is not complicated, it is unclear !

Even if you are a macrosoft windobe user, i advice you to read the first guide i wrote, before following the second one …
