Final steps to lock the bootloader:

  1. Install updates, which upgrades security number.
  2. Enable Developer mode, USB debugging and Default USB method, then turn off the phone
  3. Prepare your computer by installing additional software with this guide Installing adb and fastboot on a Linux PC
  4. Follow section “How to Boot into bootloader mode” from Install /e/OS on a Fairphone FP4 - “FP4”
  5. Follow section “Locking the Bootloader” from the end of tutorial Install /e/OS on a Fairphone FP4 - “FP4”
