Ok, I got the point now. But for the moment I can’t get the code name as none of the three solutions mentioned here works in my case. I should be able to give you the code name in some days, when I will receive the device.
So, if can resume what is said in the different forum, some people managed to make this rom work on gx290+ with a specific version of adb, but there is no waranty. Am I right ?
I received the GX290+. The code name is GX290. Installation worked fine with last adb version (1.0.41).
Just two questions:
The phone is marked as “encrypted” in parameters. But no password is asked at boot. So I don’t see how it can be encrypted without password. Is there a way to encrypt it for real ?
The anonymous connection in App Lounge doesn’t work. Maybe a loop not up to date->google detect its a hack->impossible to connect-> impossible to update. And yes, I already wiped app cache and data.
Well, Android Phones always encrypt the userdata unless disabled in an “engineer build”.
In A10 the whole partition was block encrypted, this is A12 using f2fs (file based enc.).
The welcome app asked you to protect your phone via PIN, Pattern and Fingerprint. If you don’t, it still generates an encryption key using a default PIN: ‘0000’.
The PIN is not the encryption key itself, it’s used to “gain” it!
I can upload an recovery image in engineer mode, you can adb in and have a look.
Yes, doesn’t for for me too. It works for “open source only” and it’s autoupdate is enabled!
“Aurora Store” works.
