New builds with camera working! (Thanks to eduyl!) Video recording does not work with /e/OS app, but works with e.g. Footej camera.

Has anyone tested gts210wifi T?
Can you update from e-2.2-R…?

Yes, I’m using it on my SM-T810 successfully

Just for clarification, you can simply update from R, without factory reset?

I do not remember, but I think so

Just to confirm, I did update trough TWRP without any problems.

Having the new Bliss and Android T on this tablet will take some “getting used to”, right :exploding_head:!?

I’d like to remove the task bar at the bottom, as it is to close to the keyboard and I keep hitting the app switcher instead of the space bar… or some other stuff, if I switch the taskbar layout.

Is there a way to remove the taskbar completely??

Like the bigger app grid and rotating feature a lot so far!

Thanks for building!

I have ~6 major crashes a day, since I intalled 2.4!
It seems to be bliss, as I can still swipe down from the top and get the panel, but non of the buttons work and the entire screen is black.
I have to restart the tablet every time!
(used cachecleaner, but did help)

Bliss requires Clear storage any time there is an undesired thing going on.

CacheCleaner seems a good option on every update. (imho).

If Bliss was fully “Tab friendly” we would have seen the “New /e/OS Tab” on the supported list. (imho).

yeah I know Bliss is pretty unstable for this version. Hope its getting better. Also battery drain is high

Yeah, forgot to mention… WAY higher, if you play video it is ~2-2.5 hours compared to 8-9 hours on last R version. (noticed this on my Samsung S7, too)

By now, I have to say it’s NOT FIT FOR DAILY USAGE.
Too many crashes, regardless of the launcher in use, NewPipe crashes, calendar keeps jumping to a date in the past and many other strange things I never had on the previous R version.

@ronnz98 Time for a new gts210wifi build? Current one is really Bad!

Yes I know. The developer unfortunately stopped working on the sources. So do not expect much progress in next version

This is the only ROM, I ever regretted installing!
And I can not go back to Android R anymore, so it is kind of soft bricked for ever :face_vomiting:

One idea would be to try with different launcher?
I think R version used also different TWRP version?

It’s the same with lawnchair – I switched 2-3 days after installing.
