Or you could test NewPipe and start different video playback, mostly it happens going from one video to another.

Also, have you done a 2.7 upgrade, already(on your device)?

Back on R this was sooo stable, I have used it more or less exclusive side then and a wipe would be a huge hassle.

Yes I use 2.7 T. Would recommend to update since prior versions partly have also issues with microG

Things are a bit different and from my reading the new Bliss( Version 3.1.0 ) has improved for others on other devices.

My semi crashes are still a thing, unfortunately.
But the system seems to detect them (yet, no bug reports are being recorded)

I saw a short system message "Bliss keeps crashing…) quickly followed by:

After that system goes haywire, ramping all cores in full throttle:

@ronnz98 have build a version with debugging turned on, by any chance?

I also got to record some videos with another device and will try to upload them to /e

This got so, so bad all 8 CPUs ran at 100% so many times, it wrecked my battery by now.

I got 3 Tabs on LineageOS now and I’m much, much happier.
The launcher and everything just works on LOS – don’t like a default app, well you can uninstall them. Grid, screen rotation, NewPipe all work just so much better!

I tried now and it is possible to downgrade from /e/OS-T to /e/OS-R for SM-T810.
What I did: install respective TWRP version for LOS18:

Clean install and formated everything. I did use SD card but I presume with adb it should also work

Will take some time before I can/will fix that – hoping it did not kill some other component, when it run hot after a crash.

So, I got some more testing and the exact same thing happens on a 2nd device!

Yesterday I put in a new battery and again Bliss errors and huge battery drain:

As launcher I used the Fossily and as soon as some Vids are running the battery discharges quicker, than the charger can deliver power!

I have not updated /e as I wanted to see if I had a hardware/battery problem.
I can now rule this out, both my devices show the same issue and have new batteries!

I sold my SM-T810 in the meanwhile but the latest version I had (I think it was 2.8-T) was pretty stable with ok battery consumption- I think I was still using Bliss launcher all of the time

Can you build a R version with current Bliss?

Since I got two SM-T580 showing the same issue, which did not exist on R, I could tell if it is in Bliss, or in the this Kernel – maybe!?
