Samsung Galaxy S7 stuck in boot loop after failed installation of 2.4.1

Hello, new to these forums as I’ve just had a major problem with my Galaxy S7 that I hope someone here can help me with. I’ve read a lot of similar messages on this forum before posting and I think the problem is that I should have moved from 1.17.1 to 1.20 before moving to 2.4.1 (or later). However the only downloads proposed by the updater on my phone today were 2.4.1, 2.5 and 2.6.3 (from memory) and foolishly I tried updating to 2.4.1 resulting in a boot loop with an “e” and the jumping do…
