From the List of devices, it seems my Galaxy S7 will be retired soon.

Well … maybe - in case it is technically not possible … but that’s not what the list tells us:

This list consists of community builds. Official builds are typically OTA OS upgrades, and information about them will be shared separately.

We will try to release OTA OS updates for all the devices that we sell or sold in the past in our shop. The devices which get official builds are all candidates for OTA OS upgrades.
