Consolidating…
Eventually I did the upgrade p->q manually. Because r was already out, I dit directly a OTA upgrade to r. Later that year the OTA upgrade to s was there.
Still working fine for 3 years now. Still issues, but less and less.

The Summer of 2022:

On Hold…
I will just use my Fairphone 3, bought in the shop with android 9 (Pie).
I will see the next comming year till the summer of '23 how the development is for my phone.
If at that time I’m still on android 9 (Pie) then I will have to considder other options.
