4G from new foreign sim card won't work?

Hi I tried to put foreign sim card during my stay in morocco. I bought 25Go 4G package. and my phone is a Samsung S8+.

The thing is in Settings > Mobile Network > Preferred network type, It won’t show me 4G, it will be 3G or LTE (set as recommanded). I tried both, no way to get access to internet, don’t know what to do right now !

Anyone experienced the same problem abroad, or just putting in a new sim card ?

Did you check APN settings and correlate to what the provider recommends?

LTE and 4G should be synonymous

I entered my provider’s settings in APN section from my phone and it worked !
