A16 android upgrade for FP5

does anyone know when the A16 upgrade Will be available for the FP5?

I wasn’t able to find posta about this topic.

If you are referring to the A16 builds yes, it will come.
For all official devices the OS upgrades happen OTA. That would mean you would get the A16 build in your updater app. The update of the OS will be seamless and that is the part that requires a lot of painful development and testing.
We will share the upgrade dates for FP6 and the other official devices.

All official build upgrades including for FP5 are under development. No ETAs available as yet.

When I unlocked the bootloader :
Android 15 security update december 5, 2025

The Android Version I find in “version d’android” right now :
15, mise a jour de securite 1 juin 2026 (the version i installed before to installing /e/ was from march)

The /e/ version :
4.0-a15-20260610633983-official-FP6

so answers 1 and 2 are different (i didn’t check answer 3) but answer 4 is yes, so i can go for dirty install android 16 then dirty install /e/ ?

or is that fine to just download the latest /e/ version and go for local install with no Android 16 install ?

I don’t understand the question,
You can choose whatever you want latest 4.1.1
“-a15” or “-a16” version..

Recomended Method, download the file on the phone, go to “→ settings → system updater” and use the feature called “locale update” (if you have it in the “3 dot menu” at top right of the screen).
