Around 2020 I ran my A3 using e-GSI unofficial builds. During an update (e-0.9, I gess) I broke system, then went into Lineage (still unofficial, but non-gsi). So:
SM320FL, TWRP 3.7.0_9-0, Astrako’s repartitionner, Lineage (outdated) by Debie,
last ronnz98’s build, SDcard,
total wipe (except SD), format data, reboot to recovery, flash zip.
At first boot:
e sent a popup “internal error”, I saw that SIM wasn’t detected,
from e-recovery (where is my TWRP?), commands return:
" E:Failed to clear BCB message:
failed to find /misc partition."
How can I solve this to get a working e-phone, please?
Back to stock many times but I couldn’t solve “Internal device error”. ROM seems to work but without detecting SIM. Tried to remove/put SIM and so on…
So, end of test.
I think (but can’t prove) problem comes when eOS-recovery overwrite TWRP. My device had always need special attention to recovery (mount partitions + reboot recovery, sometimes need to format data). If the Recovery doesn’t patch fully, installations result buggies.
After several hours, I also got a used A3 (A3y17lte)running with e/OS.
The latest version of ronnz98’s build works for me, with some exceptions. I also get the ““internal error” message … and the SIM card isn’t recognized.
I’d be also happy if someone has a solution.
Until then, I’m currently using the following version of ronnz98’s build work:
