I am looking for alternatives to Google Drive and I am considering Murena. I have created a Murena account, and I would like to edit files from my Murena Workspace using OnlyOffice client app (OnlyOffice app version 9.0.2 on iPhone SE with iOS 15.8.4).
I am attempting to access my Murena Workspace from the OnlyOffice app with the following steps:
Navigating to the “Clouds” tab
Selection the “NextCloud” option
Entering “murena.io” as server address and choosing “Next”
Then I land on a login page with a message “please log in before granting access to your Murena account”, a “Log in” button, and a “Alternative log in using app password” link.
But when clicking any of the two options, nothing happens.
I can’t test with iOS, but testing with Android still shows part of your issue. I can’t get user+password input fields either at the page that webview requests (https://murena.io/index.php/login/flow). Bug?
But I do get the fields for the app-password method (that you first need to create from settings (see bottom)) and it basically works after that. It’s possible you miss them as you need to scroll down after the button press on smaller screen devices?
Actually when clicking the app-password link, a copyright disclaimer appears, but no input field (see screenshot below, showing the bottom of the screen after clicking the link).
for the 2 fields not showing up for app-password I think it is then more of a (webkit) html rendering error in iOS.
But I think there’s still a solution: the 3 entries “Nextcloud”, “Owncloud” and “Webdav” all target the same backend type. Owncloud does direct login and is aware of the necessary url: if you enter murena.io, your full login and password it will work.
