Fairphone 3+, not rooted, purchased from e foundation. Currently running /e/OS 2.5
This also happened the last couple of days also when running 2.4. It first showed itself wit the outage that occurred on 7.10.2024.
It’s happening again.

I can related to that issue. This is happen to multiple times since v2.3. In my case a connection cannot be established after rebooting my device. Rebooting will also solve the problem for me.
Unfortunately there is no pattern to it. When rebooting, unlocking directly and opening the mail APP for instance, i receive the connection error for all my accounts. If i do not open any App after rebooting and unlocking, then I lock the phone again and after that syncing accounts is not an issue.
In my opinion some (infernal?) apps block the account sync for some reason. Maybe there is something with the certificate handler. I have not gone into it, so just wild thoughts.
