Add CalDAV calendar

Hi,

I try to add a new CalDAV calendar on SM-G960F /e/OS1.9-20230310268292

I open the calendar app

Access settings

Clic on “+ Add CalDAV calendar”

As result instead of doing the creation the link send me to the fdroid store to download DAVx⁵ DAVx⁵ | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

Since DAVx⁵ is already installed the link should let me configure my calendar

Have you tried adding/creating the calendar (or maybe firstly the corresponding account) in system settings account manager? (or DAVx5?)
And then to choose it from within the calendar app?

@obacht yep it is an alternative solution to make it work :+1: I solve the UX problem like that.

But this does not fix the problem :eyes:

I confirm the same behaviour of my S7 with 1.9.
That’s a bug worth being reported as an issue.

Trying to add a caldav calendar and coming from the calendar app should bring you directly to system settings account manager (which anyways has a davx5-fork already included - no need to bring up davx5 as an extra app…)
