Adding email contacts to contacts

I just realized that when using the email client in the Ecloud environment (RAINLOOP) it has the option to automatically add recipient contacts to your contacts. But that doesn’t add them to your Ecloud contacts. I can see the contact in RainLoop and edit it there, but in never shows up in the Ecloud contacts. Need this to work.

Same here, email address book contacts don’t show up in the main Contacts section and entries in the main Contacts section don’t seem accessible from the Email app. Seems a bit of a pointless contacts section if it doesn’t link into the Email app! Does at least link into the calendar app though, as contact’s birthdays show in the calendar.

I agree, it’s anoying. If any one has a solution for links and emails contacts, let me know
