I’ve been daily running /e/ for a couple of years now since I got my FP3 and I’ve been particularly happy with Advanced Privacy’s fake location. Saves me the trouble of having to install a mock app and I noticed some apps were easier to fool with it.
Sadly since the last few /e/ updates I haven’t been able to use it. Whenever I enable the feature, most of my apps start receiving the last real GPS fix instead of the mock.
One other thing I’ve noticed is that Advanced Privacy no longer appears in the list of available mock apps, under Developer Settings. As a system app perhaps it doesn’t need to be there, but it definitely used to be.
Has anyone encountered that issue? Any tips? I’ve tried the classics: clearing storage, force stopping, reboot. I’m running 2.5-t-20241111446629-official-FP3.
