Advanced Privacy keeps changing to random country in anonymous mode

Hello everyone!

If I use Advanced Privacy and activate “Hide my real IP address” and choose a specific country, e. g. Germany, after a couple of minutes without any further user interaction it changes back to “Random country”.

Can anyone confirm this behavior and/or know how to keep Advanced Privacy from doing that?

Please can you try

Settings > Apps and notifications > See all … apps > 3 dot menu top right > Show system > Updater > Storage & cache > Clear cache | Clear storage

I suspect that Clear cache will be sufficient; if not you could proceed to Clear storage. This will take out all your previous settings and any “Trackers” history.

Clearing the storage and two restarts later it works fine so far.
