Ahm ... unused apps?

Is there any possibility to stop these ongoing notifications about unused apps?

Again and again I have unused apps. And I hate to do things just to satisfy a brainless algorithm. Sure, it just happens that I don’t use all my installed apps regularly,

  • some are there for backup,
  • some only for emergency,
  • some are indeed redundant (but I like them!),
  • some are there for nostalgic reasons,
  • some are only still there while I test already other and perhaps better ones.

But that I doesn’t use an app for a while doesn’t mean anything, except for that very smart background procedure which knows best what is used and what isn’t and suggests then to delete the unused apps. For what??? What I want is: as long as an app icon is on my screen the app is used, basta.

Can I switch these notifications off somewhere?

from what I´ve seen so far it is (only) possible to switch off this function “per app” (but not in general for all apps)
eg: system settings → apps → [choose any app, scroll down to find the switch under “unused apps”: “delete permission and free storage space” …or the like]
