As already stated I really like the idea of having hardware switches to cut off connectivity. I’m wondering why only the mic&cam switch does that. The network connectivity switch only activates airplane mode and this can be revoked via software setting. This is no real benefit, especially as the corresponding LED only shows the position of the switch and not the actual connectivity. Why is connectivity not controlled by a real hardware switch?
