Alpine Quest Map Problems

Using /e/OS Applications

I am using Alpine Quest with some old Memory Map OS maps.
I can load one map but when I try to change to another map i get the message "Lite version feature not available with this free version " and a link to the Google Play Store.
Has anyone else got this problem or better still solved it.
I should add that the app works fine on another phone with normal Android

Many free versions are limited in the number of maps you can use. OsmAnd is very similar (allows 7 downloaded maps in the free version).

The version on my other phone is so old that it must pre-date the paid option but still has full functionality. Luckily i have found there is a version that allows you to license it via pay pal and hence by-pass play store so I will go down that route.
