'An administrator has added you to the Recovery group'

I received today an email from Murena stating following:

"Today, 17:27 An administrator has added you to the Recovery group

Murena - Choose freedom
This is an automatically sent e-mail. Please do not reply to this email."

Uhhhhh, why did I receive this messages?? Is password reset needed?? Anyone else received such message too??

I can normal log to my account. Nothing suspicious.:man_shrugging:

Me too. Don’t know what is about

Thank you @Manoj for your answer

Users whose MurenaRecovery folder would be visible get this email. For those who do not have the context - We had a cloud outage last year in October. Users lost the services of the cloud during the outage period. Now as we restore the services for those impacted, the files and documents in the cloud that were not accessible during the outage would be available. The MurenaRecovery folder has these documents for that particular user account. Those who have not received this email and were impacted during the outage should get the mail in the next couple of days.

Yep me too… I snuck a peak below. Wow, good deal😊

Thanks Manoj. I completely forgotten this.

Check the Client Synchronization section in that post, that addresses the necessary bits to get the Desktop client to sync again. Maybe more steps are needed to get the “MurenaRecovery” folder to be sync-ed back to restore everything more or less automatically

Maybe it is a bit less than automatic!

There may be more reading to do … that link in the full text also points to Backup my files after the Murena Workspace outage. This breaks the recovery from a user perspective into different stages.
