Android 14 or 12

I just updated my One+ Nord to the latest official OS 3.5-s-20260211580871-official-avicii, and I would like to start by thanking you for making this available.

However, I am a little surprised that the number on the page /e/OS community avicii download is listed as Android 14, while my device clearly shows it as Android 12.

Is this just an artifact in the numbering or a real difference between the Official and Community branches? And if the latter, is an update planned that will make the jump to A14 (as announced at Latest OS for Murena OnePlus Nord - #7 by haymo.hinz )?

Not much changed from the advice given there in April 2025. A link was given to the then current /e/OS Smartphone Operating System > Development Updates page. If you look at the page there published today, it looks to be still testing the OTA Upgrade Android Version for official.

An OTA update is planned for the /e/OS 3.6 release expected in late March. Subject to successful testing if course. This will be based on Android 16.

The ‘s’ in 3.5-s-20260211580871-official-avicii suggests that it is based on Android 12 indeed.
