Until now, Android Auto worked fine. This week, some Google apps have been updated.
I encounter a red screen on my FP6 :
Android Auto encountered an error.
Communication error 14 - Your car’s software didn’t pass Android Auto security checks.
Make sure that the car’s date and time are set correctly, and Google Play services has been updated.
My car was build in 2018. My advice : don’t update Google apps.
If someone has a tip in order to recover the feature, it would be nice.
I’m afraid its the same problem as I experienced with the Volkswagen app. Looks like Google is doing some updates to bother us or am I completely wrong (I hope so).
I have an issue with Spotify. When I try to use it in AA, I get an error message that “Spotify can’t run on an old version of AA”. The AA is the latest one, so the problem has to be something else.
One thing that I have noticed, is that in latest /e/os update an app called Android Auto Stub 1.0 was installed. Maybe this stub messes up things?
