Android Auto on fairphone 6

Trying to get Android Auto working.

I’ve have all 4 apps installed from the How-to and the vehicle can see the Fairphone over the USB.

I may have two issues:

1 - when I look for the Android Auto app, I only see the stub app listed in System Apps.

Is this correct?

2 - When the vehicle reports that a confirmation may be needed from the phone, none is presented and the connection attempt times out. The phone also gives a haptic response when the connection times out.

This may be a notifications setting problem, but I did not find where I could change it to allow the confirmation message to be seen.

Any help appreciated.
