Android Auto: Red screen when connecting to my car

Hi there,

Most likely a known issue… I installed e/OS 3.01 on my galaxy S8, I followed the instructions to install android auto on my phone (How to setup Android Auto with /e/OS?) but when I connect it to my car, I get a red screen saying that Android Auto cannot run because it has not been installed natively on the OS.
Since many of you are able to get it working on a similar phone, I assume I am missing 1 step in the installation process to trick AA and make it feel that it is has been natively installed along with the OS.
Many thanks for your help

Are you on A13 or above? It doesn’t work with older /e/os Android versions.
