Android auto wireless

Hello,
I am very happy with Android auto on e.OS 2.0 :slightly_smiling_face: not because it needs google app but because I got a device that needs it.
My issue is that this device needs a “android auto wireless” connection to it. I tried with my Google Pixel 6 e.Os 2.0 but can’t manage to get it works.
( This device works with an Iphone by carPlay )
Is there a restriction for using “android auto wireless” on e.Os 2.0 ?

Thanks for your helps

I’m sorry but why is this not in any release notes? I was waiting eagerly for this function!

Do you mean Android Auto in general, or just the wireless thing this topic is about?

Android Auto is in the v2.0-t release notes (it’s only available on Android 13 T) at Releases · e / os / 🚀 Releases · GitLab, section “Third Party Apps support”.

I can confirm this bug.

Android Auto works fine when connected by a USB cable to the vehicle. However, it doesn’t work when attempting to connect wirelesly. (This does work on a googled phone I have, so I am 100% certain that this is an eos/microG problem).

You’re right. No clue how I read over that, I read all the release notes usually. Weird. Anyway, happy its here!
