Annoying backup email messages

(Not sure I’m posting in the correct forum.)

I received an email from murena at my e.email account stating that if I don’t set up an alternative/backup email by a date that is not specified - it literally gives a date of ‘{disable_date}’ - my use of the email will be restricted. But, I already have a perfectly fine email set up as a backup email. When I go to the security section, Murena says my backup email address is already verified.

Why am I getting this email?

Given that murena already says that my backup email is verified, how do I stop murena from sending me these emails?

What must I do to ensure my e.email address is not restricted? (I hope it is not the case that murena will require me to scrounge up yet another email address just for this purpose and verify that - I don’t want anymore email addresses, and, as I wrote above, murena itself says that the existing backup email address is already verified.)
