Fairphone 3+ purchased from /e/ shop.
Not rooted.

When I turn the camera function on the screen continually flashes white. Is this a screen issue or a module issue? I am hoping it is not a module issue as these are no longer available from Fairphone.

I don’t recall hearing or seeing anything about such an issue.
You could try whether disassembling the display and camera modules, carefully cleaning the contacts and assembling everything again would help.
A backup of everything important on the phone to somewhere safe is advisable beforehand, of course.
