I use a Fairphone 4 and a Fairphone 6 both with eOS 3.2 and several times a day i get a “Synchronization error” which I cant turn off as could be seen in the screenshot below. The synchronization usually works and I want to ignore that error messages but I cant because it is blocked to turn of these notifications. Why is that blocked?
Synchronization may not always work because of network but that is no problem for me as it works most of the time, but these annoying messages I want to get rid of
yes this is a nuisance. I went after this for calendar (coming in v3.4) and it is trivial to allow that slider.
Either disabling notifications for system apps comes with A16 or a backport makes sense.
You could widen the sync intervalls in the Accountmanager / Kontenverwalter itself, then any sync issues will hit less often. Goto *Settings → Accounts → murena.io → my account → additional settings → choose acc. → upper right gear symbol → see 3 kind of intervals. I have them on 1440 (24h, Contacts) - 240 minutes (Calendar, Tasks).
