The key of the title of the article is free VPN apps, which apparently a lot of people download… but I’ve never even heard of one of the listed apps before. This is more alarmist article than informative, in my opinion, it basically states that free apps are not really free and will read your data. It even says that these vulnerabilities were found in October but only one of them bothered to do something about. It was obviously setup intentionally.
