Please help, I have been struggling with this for too long, and I’m considering to ship my phone back if this problem is not solved.
I own a Fairphone 4, E/OS Version “1.14-s-20230816320616-stable-FP4”.
The App Lounge doesn’t ever work. I tried to clear storage, log out and log in, but it never works. I did not activate fake location or fake IP address.
Please tell me what to do
It seems you have a pretty old and outdated /e/ version, now we are on 2.7u and will get 2.8u the week to come. So I first strongly advise you to update your system.
AppLounge is regularly out of service, and displays a message to “refresh the session”.
The best option is to install and use “Aurora Store” instead.
However I did not encounter any issue with AppLounge since about a week now.
Well, ensure you have a good WiFi network, then try to go to settings => System updates, and press quickly many times (20x to 30x if needed) on the small circle arrow on the top right until you see a new version update to apply.
If nothing appears, you would consider you need to reinstall the latest ROM by following th instructions here:
Probably not the same issue. I have an FP4 from Murena in the states on T-Mobile and the App Lounge has worked in the past but stopped working in the last week. Sometimes I get notifications of app updates available. I turned off auto-updating earlier.
When I open App Lounge I get spinner forever.
I just cleared storage and cache and force stopped and restarted App Lounge, logged in and all seems well!
FWIW. Maybe that could help you or someone else in my situation.
