App lounge doesn`t install apps

Hello,

I am experiencing exactly the same 0% App Lounge download/install problem.

Device: Gigaset GS6
/e/OS: 4.3, Android 16
App Lounge: 2.19.5

The problem started suddenly today, September 27, 2026. Yesterday App Lounge was still working normally.

Now every app installation remains at 0% indefinitely. This affects both Open Source apps and regular Google Play apps.

I have already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps:

  • rebooted the phone

  • cleared App Lounge cache

  • cleared App Lounge storage/data

  • logged out and back in

  • tested anonymous mode and Google account mode

  • tested Wi-Fi and mobile data

  • tried the Wi-Fi off/on workaround

Nothing changed.

Aurora Store and F-Droid are working normally on the same device and network, so downloading/installing apps generally works.

There is no error message in App Lounge – the installation simply remains at 0%.

Since App Lounge was working yesterday and stopped working suddenly today, this looks like it could be a server-side or App Lounge backend issue.

Could you please check whether this is a known issue affecting App Lounge 2.19.5 / /e/OS 4.3 on Android 16?

Yep, I also experience updating issues. I fixed mine by temporary disabling the private DNS setting under the network settings tab.

It was automatically set to DNS quad9.

Hi, i ‘ve often had the same problem in the past. What has worked for me, and stil does, is uncheck the box for automatic updates within the settings of app lounge. Of course, the downside now is i have to download manually. But i still get a warning when a new update is available.
