Hello everybody,

I am having exactly the same problem for over a week now.
And yes my guts told me it was evil Red Nazi Square Alphabet Inc.
(The evil ones that occupied Google long time ago and the need for /e/OS was created)
But i could not find in this topic a real solution to this problem?
What must i do to regain my anonymous app lounge login token?
Thank you all so much in advance…

Greetz,

I rakkaus murena

(Google translate :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:  :face_with_peeking_eye: told me that rakkaus means love in finish where the murena servers are)

Please try Post #2 and do it in such a way as you truly log out, so this will probably mean that you have a clear line to the server at that moment, and when you reconnect after Clear storage you definitely see and accept “Terms of service”.

Edit, furthermore, if the server is busy please be prepared to “try again later”, trying also to guess a less busy time of day or night !

If this fails, please let us know if “Error 429” of the title is part of your problem.

Edit, reworded for clarity, at that time the Status page https://status.murena.io/ was showing a “lack of service” warning, that was and the reason this was marked [Solved].

Thank you for your reply.
I cleared the data and cache.
But 429 came back. [Solved]

Hi,

I have the same problem now for a few consecutive weeks. I tried logging out, clearing storage and cache, restarting, turning off advanced privacy but nothing seems to work. I all the time get anonymous login failed (Validating AuthData failed. Network code: 429 Success: false)

Did someone already found a solution that works?
I’m currently in a position that I need on short notice documents that can only be obtained through an app, which I still need to download.

Best,

Same problem: Validating AuthData failed. Network code: 429 Success: false.

Yup me to still having the same problem.
But this topic has been [solved].

Hello,
I have two phones murena one. One is version 1.8, second 1.13.
But on both App Lounge doesn’t work at all.
It always returns message: “Anonymous login failed”.
I tried to also clear Storage & cache for App Lounge, but no effect.
Is there any cure for this problem ?

Thank you in advance

When you Clear storage and cache

  • Settings > Apps and notifications > See all … apps > App Lounge > Storage & cache > Clear storage | Clear cache

in App Lounge please can you try to do it in such a way that you definitely see and accept “Terms of service” when you login.

Checklist

  • Advanced privacy OFF
  • Clear storage
  • Have a clear line to the server indicated by fast page loading.
  • Status check for system problems.
  • Cycle through the process more than once.
  • That is to include log out of the remote server, then Clear storage.

Furthermore, if the server is busy please be prepared to “try again later”, trying also to guess a less busy time of day or night ! @marcdw was quicker ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi there e foundation family!

This is not the first topic over this error 429 problem.
But the other topics are solved while this problem is not solved at all.

I can not anonymous log in the App Lounge any more.

“Validating AuthData failed.
Network code: 429
Success: false”

Deleting the data and cache from the app did not work at all.
Does any one has a better solution to this problem other users are having as well please.

Thank you in advance,

I love Mur.e.na

HTTP Error 429 is an HTTP response status code that indicates the client application has surpassed its rate limit, or number of requests they can send in a given period of time.

Here is the list of open App Lounge issues at Gitlab.

One might use the checklist in Post #26 above, just to eliminate those things.

Guide to Report an issue.

@Rakkaus and other seeing Error 429, can I ask, are you seeing this every time you have used App Lounge or is it something you see … frequently … time to time ?

Hi all,
i have the same problem on Version - Ginko 1.8.1.

“Validating AuthData failed.
Network code: 429
Success: false”

I deleted the cache, data and switched off the Advanced privacy.
Next try was to set the update interval to one a week.
No solution worked.

Thanks and greetz

I cannot explain this. Here a status check as mentioned in Post #26 is this all satisfactory at 100% ?

This however the lower image was the result I had been expecting obtained 5 minutes ago.

Both images from the same link, but I seem to remember there were once two different links.

It’s not just App Lounge, Google is going after all app stores that provide anonymous download. Aurora is also difficult to use right now, more difficult than App Lounge. I imagine any other anonymous app store will also be having troubles.

When this Alphabet Google anonymous app lounge log in block can not really be solved!
It is over and out for e. foundation murena privacy phones!
Murdered by big tech and the community millennials still do not get it!

Well okay Goliath wins and it is only internet by linux pc now.
Throwing my murena phone away…

Moin,
on my other Redmi phone the AppLounge works fine.

On my main phone i updated the aurora Store and the anonymous login works.

  • Updates on installed apps works
  • Installation over categories work
  • sometimes the search for new app works → Error - Oops, the request frequency for this account is limited!

Thx for this tip ! How can I do that in a simple way ?

For the first time in 25 days since i replied to this topic.
I finally could log in anonymous in the app lounge.
A David win against Goliath!

Yep,
the app lounge with anonymous login works!!
