App lounge problem with apps

Hello, I recently installed e/OS on a pixel 7, it’s work perfectly, exepted the app lounge which can’t access to other app than open source apps and PWA : error in french : “Une erreur est survenue lors du chargement des applications communes. Seules les applications Open Source et PWA sont disponible pour l’instant”.
I tried with google account and in anonymous mode.

build : e_panther-user 13 TQ3A.230901.001

Hi @clement_odhul welcome to the /e/ forum.

App Lounge is not completely trouble free for all; there is this FAQ it is worth spending a bit of time going though this to help understand the issues we face. There is a recent topic on a similar subject AppLounge cannot find any apps, stuck in endless loop

Hi aibd, thank you for the response. Yes I find some answer relative to problem with the app lounge but it wasn’t the exact same problem. I tried some of the option to fix, like delete the cache, the storage, restart the phone, trying anonymous or with another google account but the app never load.
However, I’m able to install perfectly open source apps (and PWA)

So is your problem just with Google account ?

You will have greater versatility with firstly F-Droid https://f-droid.org then installed from there Aurora Store Aurora Store | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository.

Kind of, in anonymous mode too, I can’t access the app, It’s loading in gray grid. The problem is the connection to the api of google play by the app lounge (if I’m well understood).
I’m new on alternative to android, maybe the microg parameter is the reason.

Thank you for your solution with Aurora Store, It works really well, that’s perfect for me.

Yeah I’ve done that as well, Aurora and F-Droid. I’ve actually disabled App Lounge for now. I’m sure it will get there eventually, but at this point it has some usability problems.
