I was thrilled by the New update 3.3 which would have fixed the app lounge issues, however on my FP6 it is still there.
Some applications stay at the “installation” step but never truly install, which cause à bottleneck on all updates. I can’t stop the installation so it blocls all my apps updates. The only way I found to fix it is to uninstall the blocked app, but it is very annoying.
In addition to uninstalling the app, did you try to delete cache and data of the applounge app ?
You may try all what is advised in this guide on troubleshooting applounge:
If the problem persists though the update to 3.3 that was supposed to solve it, then a solution would be to erase everything on you phone doing a factory reset as this issue does not happen on all Fairphones 6.
To properly backup your internal storage and apps before erasing everything, you may follow this guide:
The fix was only applied for FP5. It was not identified that FP6 had exactly the same issue.
I suggest in applying App Lounge FAQ one takes particular notice of the instruction to Try Later.
Not fully proven but say you have a failed anonymous transaction with Play store, then your device may still show on the remote server as “unresolvable” maybe even for 12 hours or so.
So after a failed attempt, don’t spam with more fails, clear storage and stay away for 12 hours. The battery should be well charged as the Store will check for battery level before start of any transaction.
Aurora Store (from https://auroraoss.com/ installed from F-Droid) works very much in the same model as App Lounge in getting anonymous / spoofed access to the main G Play store.
By the way, I have a Fairphone 5 and e/os 3.3 installed, but App lounge did not work, even after following all the FAQ about app lounge (clearing memory. waiting ea.). The alternative Arorastore from F-droid works finally.
