Yes, I did ckear the cache, data and so on, shut down my VPN etc. but updates do not install.

I still did not give up.
I tried waiting 12hr. Then failed.
I tried logging in using a gmail account,.still zero percent.

The issue of App Lounge stuck at 0% is present on my FP3+ with /e/ OS 4.0. Clearing app data, uninstalling, rebooting, nothing works. I have to use Aurora store but this should be fixed!
Not all users have the same problem but I think that App Lounge can sometimes get stuck because something “impossible” exists in the Update list.

Currently if fp3 official users just jumped two Android versions (a13 to a15) then app-lounge requests for app updates will be “unusual” as far as the remote server sees things. This could be another cause of “something impossible in the Update list”.
Hi, exactly like @luciomarinelli, updates and installs are stuck at 0% in app-lounge since my fp3 has upgraded to /e/OS 4.0. Clearing cache and app data won’t change anything. For now, I use Aurora.

I have had this problem several times, both before and after the 4.0 update. Now even the App Lounge web site seems to be down. Luckily Aurora store always works.

I have exactly the same problem (no update, no installing new all, all stuck at 0%).

None of the usual tricks listed above or elsewhere, including “try later”, have worked so far. 
WFIW, I updated all my apps using Aurora (for Play Store apps) and F-Droid (for F-Droid apps).
If @aibd’s speculation above is right, hopefully I managed to put my phone back in a stable state so that AppLounge will work again eventually.
Otherwise, I guess I will have to juggle between the other two :-/
I can confirm that, after upgrading all apps manually with Aurora and F-Droid (depending on the source used by App Lounge to install the app), App Lounge is able again to update and install apps 
App Louge started working again even if I didn’t update all my apps using aurora or f-droid.
Just to add some extra words about this. Something “impossible” will not be impossible but might be something not quickly resolved by the remote server.
When App Lounge first starts it shares a fingerprint and receives a token. Just like a regular store the remote server will try to fullfil the order. Maybe when there is an unresolved back and forth costing extra time due to App Lounge as a “middleman” the token is "marked’ and incompetent.
Clear Storage removes the token. Wait 12 hours hopefully causes the remote server to forget the problem device.
However launching the exact same order 24 hours later … the initial failure happens again.
Success stories tend to involve “something different happens”.
For instance a switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or reverse will change the fingerprint but it may or may not affect the outcome.
That is why when received my murena handset I immediately inastalled F-Droid and APK repositories for flexibility. Never in my life I really used google play, I tried twice and it affected me badly, but that’s another story about why I hate google.
