App "Mail" E/os preinstalled information

Hello everyone, what does the “Mail” application preinstalled with E/OS bring in particular?

For example, I connect my outlook account to it, what does it change compared to if I had the outlook application directly installed?

Does it allow me to have no tracking or data collection or other?

The Mail app is forked from K-9 Mail, now known as Thunderbird for Android.
