App MESSAGE don't notify

My Murena does not display any notifications when it receives a text message.
In Settings/Notifications/App Settings, I see a switch (left/right) that is gray, but it refuses to change.
Message is version 3.10.1.
/e/OS is version 3.2.-s-2025…

Is this due to … Message app has its own Notifications.

Message app > top left 3 bar menu > Settings > Notifications – Tap to customise > Default … but

> Sound > … set a sound here.
