App thinks it's a simulator?

So I just tried to connect my /e/ phone to “Cash App” because that was the only way to pay a bill. However, each time I try to install the app, from App Lounge or Aurora, I get a message that this device is not supported because they don’t support simulators.

Anyone have any idea what this is about/how to bypass it?

Simulator seems an unusual expression to use but perhaps the app developer has used some method to detect a non Google / Android OS . You could try to take a log of the fail.
