AppLounge does not start

Hi!

I know someone with a Fairphone 4, on which AppLounge does not start any more. It’s a device bought from Murena, always upgraded OTA, no manual tricks.
It’s currently running version 2.2-t (prod version).

AppLounge does not seem to really crash: it just stays on the splash screen, with the logo, but never displays the screen where you can search for apps (or the screen where you can choose the type of login: anonymous or not).
Of course, it’s not possible to install or update apps.

AppLounge was previously working, even if it was sometimes necessary to clear its cache.

Same for me, (only in anonymous mode) since yesterday.
Sometimes it doesn’t work for 2 - 3 days and then it goes back to normal. It appears generally when Google performs changes in their Google Store APIs. So in fact it’s not a real “AppLounge” issue but some changes in Google servers that /e/OS have to react for.
If you need it in the meanwhile you can download and use Aurora Store (I use it when AppLounge is down).
So finally it’s not a big deal, but I know it’s annoying somehow…
