Hi @Marvin you can check if there is a Lineage ROM for your device. If it works well on your phone then /e/ builds should also work. The question if your phone will get on the official list of supported devices depends on the number of user requests for this particular phone.

Alternative to “Android 8 (Oreo)” is available LineageOS 16.0 ~ Android 9 - Pie - Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 X00TD. If TWRP Recovery is on your phone, the upgrade is easy.
