I’m new on /e/os (fairphone 6, /e/os v3.0.4). I’m from Belgium, so I installed Itsme (application for authentication, validation of actions) and I tried to install the ING bank app with the itsme method. When the Bank app want to do a call to the itsme application, in place of opening the itsme app it opens the browser with an url that gives a 404 error (resource not found).
I suppose the problem is not linked to these 2 specific apps, but it’s widely the communication between two applications on the mobile.
Is there anyone who knows if it’s possible to solve this problem ? Maybe anyone in Belgium with itsme and banking app ?
I found the problem, I don’t know if these manual changes in the configuration of the apps are normal but it works.
So to solve the problem : Go in parameters on the app configuration (here the first one for me was istme app) look for the topic ‘open by default’ (I’ve a system in french , so it’s a translation , maybe a little different in reality in english?). The radio button was well on ‘In the application’ but in the section ‘links to open in this application’ , the preconfigured urls (for itsme : merchant.itsme.be, mobileapp.sixdots.be and idp.prd.itsme.services) were not checked. So I checked these 3 links. In the bank app configuration I also checked the predefined urls. After these 2 changes, the app2app functionality was ok between bank app and itsme app.
