I am not able to buy apps via App Lounge because there is no device added to my google play store account. I am using a FP4 1.20-s.
I have my google account connected on my FP4 and it said that Murena will use a different device for google play (for privacy reasons). However, there is no device connected to my google account so I can’t buy apps. I attached a screenshot.
Up until now I had an old google device connected to my google account so I was able to buy apps. I do wanna get rid of that device though so I disconnected it from my google account.
Hi! Sorry not to be around earlier, so hopefully you’re already sorted.
In case not, one thing to try if you have a computer (or cloud service credit) beefy enough to install Android Studio (“best experience with 16GB RAM”! +16GB diskspace) is a simulated phone using the emulator https://developer.android.com/studio/run/managing-avds
I don’t what if anything you might need to tweak to get GPlayServices to accept registering on it as an device for your purpose. Some ideas might come from consulting a GrapheneOS how-to for installing Play.
Fingers crossed you’ve already found a better way, and /e/ V2 goes live smoothly!
