I was told it (e on Key 2) won’t happen because the bootloader is locked. Sadly there are no custom roms for Blackberrys.
apparently a group achieved bootloader unlock on the key2 key2LE and is porting LineageOS, see this reddit thread and (incomplete) description of the used method
Unlock is fonctionnal for Key2 and Key2LE. Compatible firmwares : ACQ160 & ACI448 for Key2 | ACT575 for Key2LE
