Hi,
I was wondering how to disable (or limit) the blur effect at the bottom of the screen in Bliss Launcher.
From old posts (2020) apparently there was a trick with removing some authorizations, but I didn’t find the equivalent today.
I’ve just updated to 2.6.3 (2.6.3-t).
I’m sad I don’t have an older screenshot of the phone before update to make sure something changed, but it snapped at my eyes on reboot, so maybe.
Would be rally great to add options anyway when it comes to main interface.
Any advice welcome !
thanks

I didnt have the blurred effect before the 2.6.3 uodate.
Its awfull, please add a option to switch it off. I had to create special wallpaper to deal with it.

The app simply solid com.enrico.earthquake gives wallpaper effect with no blur.
not installable anymore. Did it allow a real wallpaper or only a solid color ?

It effectively provides a screen full of any colour, which you can apply as your wallpaper.
If it cannot install I guess you could use any hex colour generator and take a screenshot.
I do find that the blur looks more odd with certain images.

omg would love to know who ever asked for this.
for the records, I tested “Fossify simple launcher”
not bad, allows more icons (seriously, only 4 at bottom is not much, I had more on a 4.6 inch screen)
BUT
before you try :
- widgets behave … badly (polite way to say didn’t work)
- missing key feature : number of notifications form app on the app icon itself.
so in the end no go for me.
