There are some services provided by e/OS apps which are not implementing security protection services for devices. Using Blocker app, I discovered this one:
BluetoothOppIncomingFileConfirmActivity: com.android.bluetooth.opp.BluetoothOppIncomingFileConfirmActivity ; Ask user if confirm incoming files.
I found into SIM Toolkit daemon that permission granted by e/OS provide the permission to “record audio”. From SMS it’s granted “read your text messages (SMS and MMS)” .
I think this is something totally unnecessary for the SIM Toolkit.
Could anyone clarify if this is a permission granted by default from e/OS or its something modify from the carrier data company ?
I also have the same questions for other kind of system apps (Phone calls,Message, LineageOS ) and services which have granted some permission that clearly are a huge security bridge for e/OS devices.
Every time we have a system upgrade/update, I have found its a good idea to go THOROUGHLY thru all settings and make changes if necessary. There have been a few surprises.
