Je viens d’acheter un galaxy S8 reconditionné sur lequel je cherche à installer /e/OS
L’installation initialement semble bien se passer: après l’étape “start in recovery mode”, TWRP démarre avec la succession des actions demandées dans la phase “format data et turn off” de l’easy installer: wipe, format data, yes, 3 fois “back”, reboot, power off, do not download. Mais cependant une anomalie sur le galaxy S8 après avoir répondu “yes” à “format data” un message "failed to mount ‘/preload’ (invalid argument).
Le smartphone semble ensuite ne vouloir démarrer qu’en mode TWRP.
Que puis-je faire pour aller plus loin ? D’avance merci pour votre aide

Je viens de faire un nouvel essai: la procédure se termine maintenant par le message affiché par TWRP : “No OS installed, are you sure you wish to power off ?”
I have a similar problem with my S8. I got stuck at the very same phase of the installation as you François. Now, if I power the phone on, I get into TWRP mode. But the Easy Installer doesn’t progress anymore.
Since it seems the /e/OS image is not installed on the device, i’ll try to load it from an SD card then flash it using TWRP. Not sure it will work since i am a newby in these matters. I’ll let you know.
Eventually, i found a solution: I copied the /e/OS zip file (e-latest-dreamlte.zip) on a micro SD card. Then click “install” on TWRP, choose the zip file on the SD card and let TWRP do the installation on the S8.
