Bluetooth device no detected

Hi,

I would like to run an application which should detect a certain bluetooth device, which is related to this application. However no device can by found. I gave the app all rights it was asked for. I activated bluetooh.
Is there anything else missing?

Another person testet it with a normal Android phone. There it was working.

I would prefer to not say. It only has a tiny user group.

Try looking in the app and see if the Bluetooth pairing is within the App as opposed to the Bluetooth pairing settings.

Yep it is. I has an extra section for looking for nearby devices.
But it does not detect any.

Is Bluetooth enabled from the tile swiping down from the top, if you can’t see it hit edit to edit tiles so you can move them around.

Yes it is activated. I also tried to disable and enable it again. It did not help.

I can’t help if I don’t know the app, contact the developer.

Hi, a similar issue:

I am having a hell of a time trying to pair a Wonderboom4 loud speaker with my FP6 with /e/OS 3.7.3. The loud speaker is detected and paired within seconds both from a Linux labtop and a Samsung S10e phone. But trying it to pair with the FP6, the device is just not discovered. Bluetooth has been turned off and on multiple times, it sees other devices in the house (from other apartments, lots of wood in the building) but just not the Wonderboom4 sitting right next to it.

Anybody has some advice ?

PS: I got my Sony head phones (WH-1000XM4) working, but only with the help of the Sony sound cloud application. By using Bluetooth discovery alone, the head phones did not appear in the FP6 list of Bluetooth devices.

PPS: Just tried to pair my Linux laptop with the FP6 /e/OS: Worked in seconds. I am baffled…

Maybe fp6 has its own issues with bluetooth ??

Thanks for the search links, I have visited some of them already. But the problems they have is that BT resp. BT LE does not work reliably, while in my case I don’t even see my Wonderboom4 loud speaker at all in the FP6 /e/OS BT device list. Using a “Bluetooth Scanner” app, I find a number of BT devices around me, but just not my loud speaker. Frustrating… but it may be a FP6 issue, and not one of /e/OS. BT is one of these features we take for granted that they “just work” :wink:

Replying myself: I went back to the shop and asked the sales person about possible BT pairing problems of this product. Turns out I was handling it wrong, pressing the wrong button to start the pairing process :frowning: So BT on FP6 works, no blame, while I might blame Logitech’s documentation which I obviously got wrong :wink:
