Bootloader unlocked / FP6

Hi everyone,

I just installed e/OS on my FP6 using the web installer.

Whenever I restart the phone, I get a warning that the boot loader is unlocked.

Besides that, everything works fine. A friend of mine who has also the FP6 with e/OS never gets this warning (he got his FP pre installed with e/OS directly from Fairphone).

Do I need to take the warning seriously? Did I do anything wrong during the installation?

Hi @Darkk welcome to the /e/ users forum.

No. It would seem that eosinstaller did not draw your attention sufficiently to locking and to the very careful study you must make of Android SPL before /e/OS install if you want to lock.

First of all read the manual install page. Install /e/OS on a Fairphone The Fairphone (Gen. 6) - “FP6” and fully understand the anti-rollback hazard.
